The prompt

Using Search Console for the last [3 months], find searches where two or more of my pages get impressions, like [winter tyres] showing both a post and a category page. List the [10] with the most impressions, with each page's clicks and average position. For each, suggest which page should own the search and what to change on the others: their search title, a heading, or a link to the main page. Where two pages should become one, say which to keep and suggest a redirect from the other. Show me the plan first and change nothing until I approve each page.

Already connected?

Find searches where several of my pages compete, and suggest which page should own each one.

What happens

  1. The AI app reads Search Console by search and page together, and keeps searches where more than one page appears.
  2. It reads the competing pages and their search snippets.
  3. It shows you which page should own each search and what to change on the others.
  4. Changes to live pages and snippets wait for your approval in SAR, and can be undone for 30 days.
  5. If you merge two pages, moving the old one to the trash and the 301 redirect from its address to the page you keep each wait for your approval in SAR; the redirect can be undone for 30 days.
