The prompt

[Name] has left the company. Find their account on my site and tell me their role and when they joined. Delete it and give their posts and pages to [colleague's username], once I approve with my password. If I tell you I'm not ready to delete it yet, change their role to [subscriber] instead.

Already connected?

If SAR is already in your AI app, this is enough:

Already connected?

Delete [name]'s account and give their posts to [colleague], once I approve.

What happens

  1. The AI app lists the users with their roles and when they joined; emails are shortened.
  2. Lowering the role, if you choose that for now, waits for your approval (with your password if administrator-level access is taken) and can be undone.
  3. Deleting the account gives their posts and pages to the colleague you named. It cannot be undone, so it is approved in SAR with your password.
  4. The connected account and the last administrator are never deleted.

Approvals involved

Worked out from the tools this recipe uses.

  • wordpress_list_usersList usersNone
  • wordpress_change_user_roleChange a user's roleDepends on the change
  • wordpress_delete_userDelete a userApproval and password

What you get

No access left for someone who has gone, and their work still on the site under your colleague's name. On a multisite network they are removed from this site only.
