Check that your form enquiries show up in Google Analytics

List my site's forms and how many entries each received over the last [30] days, spam left out. Then look in Google Analytics for the events my site sends when a form is sent, such as [generate_lead] or [form_submit], by day and by page, over the same days. Tell me whether the counts roughly agree and, where they don't, what might explain it. If one event clearly matches my [contact form] and is not a key event yet, show me what you would create and wait for my yes before creating it.
Already connected?
If SAR is already in your AI app, this is enough:
Do my form entries match the form events in Google Analytics?
What happens
- The AI app lists your forms, with how many entries each has and whether the plugin keeps entries at all.
- It reads each form's entries per day and by status, and its spam rate: counts only.
- It runs a Google Analytics report of event counts by event name, day and page.
- It compares the two and explains the gaps; Google Analytics can count fewer, for example when visitors decline cookies.
- If you agree, it marks the event as a key event, which waits for your approval in SAR and counts from then on.

What you get
Confidence that the enquiries you receive are the ones Google Analytics reports, and a key event to judge your channels by. SAR does not add tracking code; if no form event reaches Google Analytics, whoever set up your tracking needs to add one.
