A weekend sale on one category, with the 30-day lowest price shown
Put a category on sale in one change you approve once, check the price shown before the discount and show the 30-day lowest price.
- Difficulty
- Intermediate
- Time
- about 20 min
I want a weekend sale on the category [category name]: [20]% off every product in it, with prices ending in [.90]. Leave out [products or brands to skip]. List the products with their regular price and the sale price you would set; for variable products, set the sale price on each variation. Wait for my approval before you change anything. Once the sale is on, run the 30-day lowest price check on these products and tell me whether the product pages show the lowest price; if they don't, offer to switch it on. On Monday I will ask you to remove the sale prices.
Already connected?
If SAR is already in your AI app, this is enough:
Put [category] on sale at [20]% off for the weekend; show me the price list first, then check the 30-day lowest price.
What happens
- The AI app finds the category and lists its products with their prices.
- It shows you the sale prices in the chat and waits for your go-ahead.
- All the sale prices go to SAR as one change, up to 50 products or variations, which you approve once. Each can be undone on its own.
- The 30-day lowest price check compares the old price shown with the lowest price of the 30 days before the discount, and flags a regular price raised just before the sale.
- Showing the lowest price under sale prices is a separate change that waits for your approval. It is refused if an Omnibus plugin already shows it.

What you get
A sale your customers see with the 30-day lowest price beside it, and a checked price list to come back to when you end it. The check helps you; it is not legal advice.
