If your site sells tickets or teaches courses, ask how they are doing. New events are written as drafts for you; attendees and students stay on the site.
Can ChatGPT or Claude manage my events in The Events Calendar?
Yes, with your approval. It reads events with their venue, organizers and Event Tickets totals, writes new events as drafts, and changes, publishes or trashes them through The Events Calendar's own code. Every change can be undone. Recurring series are read but not changed, and attendee details never leave the site.
What ChatGPT or Claude can read and do
Events
Upcoming and past events with their dates, venue, organizers, categories and cost, and how each one recurs.
Tickets
For each event, tickets sold and still available, attendees and how many checked in. Totals only, never an attendee.
Venues and organizers
Venues and organizers, with organizer emails outside your own domain masked.
Courses
Students, completions, lessons and price per course from Tutor LMS, LearnPress, Sensei LMS and LearnDash (beta). Counts only, never a student.

How to connect it
Connect your WordPress site

Allow changes, if you want them
The connection is read-only by default. An owner or admin can allow changes; each one then shows a preview and waits for a person's approval in SAR.
Add SAR to ChatGPT or Claude
Add https://mcp.sar-soft.com/mcp, SAR's MCP server address, as a custom connector (in ChatGPT, with developer mode turned on), sign in and authorize one organization.

What to know
- New events are always created as drafts. Publishing, changing a published event and moving one to the trash wait for your approval.
- Recurring series are not changed through SAR.
- Courses are read only: SAR does not enrol, remove or contact students. LearnDash is in beta.
- For events and courses SAR returns numbers only; who signed up stays in wp-admin.
- Answers come from ChatGPT or Claude and can be wrong or incomplete. Check important details in the plugin itself.

Event Tickets, the companion plugin of The Events Calendar. SAR reads its totals per event, never the attendee list.
Can it create a course or enrol a student?
No. Courses are read only, as counts. Course content and enrolments stay in your course plugin.
