Can ChatGPT or Claude read my Magento or Adobe Commerce store?

Yes, through SAR Intelligence. You add an integration access token in the SAR app, then add SAR to ChatGPT or Claude. The AI app can search and read orders, catalog, inventory and customer records, and it cannot change any of them.

How to connect it

  1. Create an integration in Magento

    In the Magento admin, create an integration and copy its access token.

  2. Connect the store in SAR

    Create your organization at app.sar-soft.com. Add your store address, the access token and, if you need one, a store view code. The app warns you that customer records will be readable.

  3. Add SAR to ChatGPT or Claude

    Add https://mcp.sar-soft.com/mcp, SAR's MCP server address, as a custom connector (in ChatGPT, with developer mode turned on). Check which plans can add it below the steps.

  4. Authorize your organization

    Sign in to SAR when asked and choose the organization ChatGPT or Claude may read.

What to know

  • Magento is the one source where ChatGPT or Claude can read customer names, emails and order history. The app warns you before you connect.
  • Order totals from Magento add up every order in the period, cancelled ones included, unless the AI app filters by order status. Check sales totals in Magento itself.
  • There is no low-stock question for Magento yet.
  • The AI app only reads. It cannot create, edit or cancel orders, products or customers.
  • Answers come from ChatGPT or Claude and can be wrong or incomplete.
