How to connect it
Install the plugins
On WordPress 6.9 or later, install the WordPress MCP Adapter plugin and the SAR Commerce Connector plugin.
Create an application password
In your WordPress user profile, create an application password. Then create your organization at app.sar-soft.com and connect the store with its address and that password.
Add SAR to ChatGPT or Claude
Add https://mcp.sar-soft.com/mcp, SAR's MCP server address, as a custom connector (in ChatGPT, with developer mode turned on). Check which plans can add it below the steps.
Authorize your organization
Sign in to SAR when asked and choose the organization ChatGPT or Claude may read.

What to know
- You need WordPress 6.9 or later with two plugins: the WordPress MCP Adapter and the SAR Commerce Connector.
- Order data never includes customer names, addresses, emails or phone numbers.
- The plugin's write switches are off by default, and SAR allows none of its write tools. The AI app cannot change prices, stock or orders.
- Each connection reads one store.

Why do I need a plugin?
The SAR Commerce Connector lets SAR reach your store data through WordPress. It works together with the WordPress MCP Adapter plugin, and its write switches are off by default.
Can ChatGPT or Claude see my customers' contact details?
Order data never includes customer names, addresses, emails or phone numbers.
Can the AI app change anything in my store?
No. SAR allows none of the plugin's write tools, so your products, prices, stock and orders stay as they are.
